At least 50 migrant workers have been arrested following a clash with police on Christmas.
At least 50 migrant workers have been arrested following a clash with police in Kerala's Ernakulam district. The workers clashed with each other and allegedly burnt a police jeep on December 25.
On Christmas, two groups of labourers, working at the Kitex company, clashed with each other and attacked the police, injuring eight policemen in the process.

Two years ago, former Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina warned of an alleged plot by a 'white man' to establish a Christian state. In 2025, the Mizoram CM said Ukraine war veterans were using the state to enter Myanmar. The arrest of 7 foreign nationals by the NIA has prompted experts to suggest that the incidents might be connected.
