In this week's Fashion Friday, we take a look back at the times when Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput set couple fashion goals in ethnic ensembles.
Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput make for a super-doting couple. They often leave fans in awe with their loved-up pictures and witty banter on social media. But their sartorial game is even stronger. Every time they head out together, their fashion game is not just on-point but highly inspirational as well.
The couple recently attended Shahid’s sister Sanah Kapur’s wedding, and oh boy, the duo oozed glam and legit set goals in stylish traditional outfits. They kept it classic and uber-stylish in contrasting black and ivory (more on what they wore below). But time and again, Shahid and Mira have proved their fashion supremacy in voguish ensembles. Especially, when it comes to ethnics.
In this week’s Fashion Friday, we take a look at the times when Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput doled out couple fashion goals in ethnic outfits.
A STRONG CONTRAST
Shahid Kapoor is known for his suave and edgy style sense, and he definitely knows how to make the loudest noise with minimalism. For sister Sanah Kapur’s wedding with Mayank Pahwa, Shahid looked dapper in a minimal asymmetrical black kurta set from designer Raghavendra Rathore’s eponymous label. He layered it with a matching jacket featuring intricate black-on-black threadwork.
Mira Rajput, on the other hand, looked pretty in a contrasting ivory saree from Ritika Mirchandani. Mira, who has a penchant for breezy and printed sarees, slipped into an embellished number that screamed glam! She kept the styling minimal and just wore a pair of statement earrings for accessories. Barely-there makeup and her smartwatch completed her look.
Now that’s how you make a statement in contrasting outfits!
