
5 students from IIIT get more than Rs 1 crore package, breaks all old records

Five students of IIIT have got a package of more than one crore, leaving behind all the old records.
The Indian Institute of Information Technology, IIIT, has set a new record in placements. This year, 5 students of IIIT, Allahabad received a package of more than 1 crore. The students of IIIT have surpassed all the old records of the institute in campus placements.
Google has given a package of 1.4 crore to Pratham Prakash Gupta, while Akhil Singh has been offered 1.2 crore BTK of Luck Mittal from Rubric. Further, Anurag Makade has been offered Rs 1.25 crore from Amazon.
In this campus selection, 75 percent placement has been taken in MBA this year. The highest package that has been offered is 35 lakhs. The students were offered by companies like Airtel, Impact Guru, Rudrakshi Technologies, Private Limited and Young.
The process of giving placements for 328 students from BTech of this IIIT was started in August 2021, out of which 48 percent had got jobs in companies like Amazon, Facebook, Netflix, Apple and Google, while MTech 161 students in this team for placement. Out of which, 93.75 percent of students got jobs in big firms.
The special thing is that 100 percent of students have got placement for the first time in the MTech stream.
According to Dr Vineet Tiwari, Training and Placement Officer of IIIT, the introduction of the new teaching course Data Science and Analytics in MTech at IIIT has been very good. The students of the first batch of this course have got 100 percent placement.
Reputed companies from India and abroad have come to the institute for placements, Dr Tiwari added.
