5 killed, 2 injured in car-truck collision on Yamuna Expressway

A Bolero car rammed into a truck on Yamuna Expressway on Thursday morning, leaving five dead and injuring two others.
At least five people were killed and two others sustained injuries after a Bolero car rammed into a truck on UP's Yamuna Expressway in the wee hours of Thursday.
The accident took place at around 5 AM, 40 km before Jewar toll plaza near Milestone, when a car travelling from Agra to Noida rammed into a truck (dumper) from behind. Under the impact of the collision, seven people who were inside the car were severely injured.
Subsequently, the injured were rushed to Kailash Hospital, Jewar for treatment, where five of them (4 women, 1 man), all aged above 50, succumbed to their injuries. Meanwhile, two others are still undergoing treatment at the hospital.
Soon after police were informed, the truck was seized.
