Shveta Dahda believed in her dreams, and went on to pursue them with grit and determination and emerged victorious in the platinum category of Mrs. India Universe 2022 paegant held in Jaipur earlier this month.
After getting married at the young age of 19, Shveta Danda fulfilled her dreams more than two decades later. The 42-year-old homemaker and mother to a 19-year-old daughter won the title of Mrs. India Universe.
Dahda believed in her dreams, and went on to pursue them with grit and determination and emerged victorious in the platinum category of Mrs. India Universe 2022 paegant held in Jaipur earlier this month.
Shveta is the wife of Colonel Raman Dhada, a serving army officer currently posted in Hyderabad.
A conducive atmosphere and a supportive husband helped Dahda with achieving her dreams. The couple has two children, a 19-year-old college-going daughter and a 15-year-old son currently in class 10.
Shveta, while speaking with IndiaToday.in, mentioned that she would like to set an example for those wanting to pursue their dreams.
"I always wanted to participate in events and I have been actively participating since I was in school. I was very good at extra-curricular activities. I got married early, at the age of 19. It was difficult initially as my children were young, but once they became older, I decided to pursue my dreams. My husband has always been encouraging," she added.
Born and brought up in Amritsar, Dahda pursued her school and college education from there itself. She pursued her B.Ed after marriage and is currently a fitness and wellness coach who prefers to juggle her work, her family commitments and pursue her dreams.
