You would think that the battery technology has evolved enough to make their unexplained explosions a thing of the past. Unfortunately enough, that is not the case for all devices, as a recent incident reinstates a fresh horror of exploding batteries in gadgets. The incident took place in China, as a four-year-old girl had to suffer third-degree burns when her smartwatch exploded on her wrist. The girl was rushed to the hospital, where she had to get skin grafts following the incident.
