36-year-old woman raped in Delhi's Ghazipur area, two booked

A 36-year-old woman was raped by an auto driver and his accomplice in the Ghazipur area of Delhi on Wednesday night.
A 36-year-old woman was raped in the Ghazipur area of the national capital on Wednesday night.
The victim stated that after finishing her work at the office, she opted to travel in an auto back to her home. However, the auto driver stopped midway by saying that the petrol tank was empty.
She further said that the auto driver called one of his accomplices there and after that, both the men took the woman to a secluded place and raped her.
The woman was admitted to a hospital and is undergoing treatment.
A case was registered on Thursday under sections 323 (rape), 365 (kidnapping), 376D (gang rape) of the IPC.
A search is underway to nab the two accused.
