
21 new Sainik Schools approved by Ministry of Defence in partnership mode from academic year 2022-2023

The Ministry of Defence has approved 21 new Sainik Schools in partnership mode from the academic years 2022-2023.
As part of the government’s initiative of setting up 100 new sainik schools across the country, the establishment of 21 new Sainik Schools in partnership with NGOs, private schools or state governments has been approved by the Ministry of Defence (MOD).
These 21 new Sainik Schools will be set up as a in the initial round of setting up the 100 new Sainik Schools in a mode of partnership. These 21 new Sainik Schools will be distinct from the existing Sainik Schools.
The aim of setting up the 100 new Sainik Schools is to provide quality education for the students in line with the National Education Policy(NEP) and give them better career opportunities that include joining the Armed Forces.
A total of 17 out of the 21 new Sainik Schools are Brownfield running schools, whereas the 4 remaining schools are Greenfield schools to be operational shortly.
A total of 12 newly approved Sainik Schools went to NGOs, trusts or societies, 6 private schools and 3 state-government-owned schools also found their place in the list.
While NGOs/ Trusts /Societies have a share of 12 approved new schools, 6 private schools and 3 state-government-owned schools find place in the list of such approved new Sainik Schools.
Of the 21 new Sainik Schools, seven will be day schools as opposed to the existing Sainik Schools which are purely residential whereas 14 of these schools have residential arrangements.

Students who appeared for the Bihar School Examination Board Class 12 exams can now access their results through multiple platforms, including the India Today Board Results page for smoother and quicker access.
