2021 Suzuki Hayabusa launch in India soon
India Today
India will be one of the first markets to get the new 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa, with a launch expected soon and unofficial bookings already open.
Launched a few months ago, the new BS6/Euro 5 compliant Suzuki Hayabusa has been a polarizing subject in the world of super bikes. The sharper, more angular Suzuki hyper-bike got its first comprehensive rework since it was launched in 1999, but without major changes to the chassis or the powertrain. Dashing any hopes of the turbo-charged Hayabusa that was rumored to be in the works. What’s worse was that instead of bump in power Euro 5 saw the 1300cc inline four lose a few horses, although Suzuki say that majorly reworked internals and the new electronic systems will ensure that this new Busa is not only the quickest one yet but also the most tractable. Now sources in our dealer network have confirmed that 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa will launch in India by the end of April or early May. Most dealers are taking bookings unofficially, although the booking amount may vary depending on the dealership. The 2021 Hayabusa will be sold in three colours in India, Glass Sparkle Black/Candy Burnt Gold, Metallic Matte Sword Silver/Candy Daring Red, and Pearl Brilliant White/Metallic Mat Stellar Blue. Aside from that the 2021 Hayabusa gets a long list of features and a comprehensive electronics suite that’s aimed improving tractability. This time around the Busa gets engine brake control, wheelie control, cruise control, hill hold control, and launch control all of which can be controlled through a small TFT screen between the twin clocks. The 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa is powered by the same 1340cc in-line four-cylinder motor but with slightly less power than before and BS6 compliance. The Busa now makes 190bhp and 150Nm of torque, 10bhp and 5Nm less than before.
