Roughly four years after Skoda launched the first Kodiaq, the Czech-based carmaker now upgraded the globally successful SUV with improved aerodynamics, innovative design, and the introduction of the powerful TSI petrol engine to the range-topping Skoda Kodiaq RS. The Active, Ambition and Style trims will come with aluminum-effect detail on the front and rear apron, lending the SUV even more off-road styling, while the interior is improved to a new level. The Virtual Cockpit enhances the driver experience, and now features an enhanced version of Crew Protect Assist. The refreshed Skoda Kodiaq facelift will make its way to India as well later this year. The 2021 Skoda Kodiaq receives a redesigned front section with restyled front with an elevated bonnet, redesigned Skoda grille, aluminum-effect detail on the front and rear apron, LED headlights as standard as well as the option to choose the new full-LED Matrix headlights. The new 20-inch alloy wheels feature a new design enhancing the profile of the Skoda Kodiaq facelift. Also redesigned are the front and rear bumpers, while the rear spoilers get a new gloss black effect while the finlets on the sides of the rear window reduce drag. The Kodiaq RS, on the other hand, now features a distinct, dynamically designed model-specific front bumper. The 10.25-inch Virtual Cockpit with four different layouts is available as an option for most models but comes as standard for the Kodiaq RS. Drivers of both the RS and the Kodiaq Sportline have an additional layout to choose from. The range of assistance systems now also features an enhanced version of Crew Protect Assist and has additional radar sensors at the rear to respond to vehicles that pose a risk of a rear-end collision.
