20 candidates who received Telangana government’s ₹1 lakh assistance qualified in UPSC Civil Services Main Exam
Among the candidates who have qualified in the Union Public Service Commission’s (UPSC) Civil Services (Main) Examination- 2024, 20 of them received ₹1 lakh assistance under the ‘Rajiv Gandhi Civils Abhaya Hastham’ launched by Telangana government in July this year. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy congratulated the candidates qualified in the mains exam.
The financial assistance of ₹1 lakh is provided to about 400 aspirants who qualify for the Mains every year. Singareni Collieries Company Ltd (SCCL) will provide the assistance. This year, 135 aspirants were provided with it. The Chief Minister distributed the cheques on August 26, 2024.
The list of the candidates who qualified in the Main exam were released on Monday (December 9, 2024). They have qualified for the Personality Test (Interview) for selection to the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police Service and other Central Services (Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’).
The 20 candidates from the State include four from Warangal, three each from Medchal Malkajgiri and Khammam, two from Rangareddy, one each from Siddipet, Nagarkurnool, Adilabad, Vikarabad, Jagtial, Medak, Mahabubabad, Bhadradri Kothagudem and Kumaram Bheem Asifabad.
