Two people were killed after a Nio electric call fell from the third floor of an office in Shanghai on Wednesday. The incident took place when a car smashed out of a building and came crashing down.
Two people were killed after a Chinese electric car fell from the third floor of an office in Shanghai. The people who died were inside the vehicle as it fell from the building.
One member of staff and a person from a partner company died in the crash at its headquarters on Wednesday at around 5:20 pm local time, the electric carmaker Nio said.
After the incident took place, the company immediately started an investigation in cooperation with government officials.
A video showed the vehicle lying on its side with its roof caved in, surrounded by broken glass and emergency workers.
