17 children fall ill after eating mid-day meal in Tamil Nadu's Cuddalore

At least 17 children in Tamil Nadu's Cuddalore district were admitted to a hospital after they consumed mid-day meal at an anganwadi. The food was allegedly poisoned by a dead lizard.

At least 17 children were admitted to a hospital in Tamil Nadu's Cuddalore district on Monday after they consumed a mid-day meal at an anganwadi.

Children who ate food at an anganwadi in Poodhangati village began to vomit and faint. They were rushed to the Cuddalore Government Hospital.
