15% school fees reduction in Maharashtra private schools

Maharashtra Cabinet has approved the ordinance for the reduction of private school fees by 15% during Covid-19 pandemic.

The Maharashtra Cabinet on Thursday approved the ordinance of fees reduction in private schools by 15 per cent during the pandemic in the state. Parents have requested Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and state education minister Varsha Gaikwad in a letter to ask the private schools to reduce their fees by 15 per cent from 2019 to 2021. The letter was written after SC ordered a fees reduction for Rajasthan.
