
12-acre govt land in Hyderabad’s Banjara Hills will be made useful to public: District in-charge Minister Ponnam Prabhakar

12-acre government land in -Hyderabad’s Banjara Hills which was encorached upon was reclaimed, worth ₹1,200 crore, to be utilized for public benefit.
A 12-acre government land in Banjara Hills of Hyderabad which was reclaimed after being encroached upon, would be made useful for the public. The district in-charge Minister Ponnam Prabhakar announced the Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s decision after inspecting the land, bearing survey number 102/1, along with officials on Saturday (May 3, 2025). It is estimated to be worth ₹1,200 crore.
The collector Anudeep Durishetty, Mandal Revenue Officer (MRO) and other officials took the land, located opposite to the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) office, under the control of the Revenue department based on records. The Minister appreciated the officials and gave suggestions regarding fencing it. Mr. Prabhakar urged people to inform officials if any government land is encroached upon.
