10-year-old Superstar Singer 2 contestant leaves judges teary-eyed as she dedicates her song to her sister

Superstar Singer 2 contestant Harshita Bhattacharjya left the judges teary eyed as she sang Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na for her sister. Take a look at the video of her performance.

Singing reality show Superstar Singer is back with another season on Sony TV. The show, which provides a platform to young singing prodigies under the age of 15, will premiere on April 23. Singers Alka Yagnik, Himesh Reshammiya and Javed Ali are the judges and there is also a panel of captains to help hone their singing with the right guidance. In the latest promo, 10-year-old Superstar Singer 2 contestant Harshita Bhattacharjya's performance leaves the judges teary-eyed.

Harshita Bhattacharjya impressed everyone not just with her melodious voice, but also with her kind heart. She hails from Guwahati, Assam. In the show, Harshita is heard talking about her elder sister, Jharna, who she adores very much. She got everybody emotional with her soulful rendition of Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, which she dedicated to her sister.

Himesh Reshammiya was seen in tears. An emotional Alka Yagnik could not stop herself from going on stage and hugging Harshita. She said, “Harshita is a sweet girl with such a sweet voice. Her goodness that’s inside of her reflects in her eyes. It is said that eyes are the mirror of the soul, and her eyes are full of sweetness and kindness. God bless you. You really sang well.”

Superstar Singer 2, which will premiere on April 23, will air every Saturday and Sunday at 8 pm on Sony TV.
