The Delhi police arrested an accused on Saturday who allegedly put up a poster outside the US Embassy in the capital city which asked the US President “to stop bullying India.”

The Delhi Police on Saturday arrested one man for allegedly putting up a poster on the signboard outside the US embassy in New Delhi which sported a message against US President Joe Biden.

The name of the accused is Pawan Kumar, who is a resident of Arjun Nagar.

In the poster, President Biden has been asked to “stop bullying India”. “We do not need u. USA needs India against China. We are proud of our all disciplined and brave Indian Armed forces. Jai Jawan, Jai Bharat,” the poster read.

During the police interrogation, the accused reportedly said that he had gone to the US embassy on Friday along with the Hindu Sena President, Vishnu Gupta. Once there, he had pasted the poster on the embassy’s board at the insistence of Gupta.

According to the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), New Delhi efforts are being made to arrest Vishnu Gupta.

Gupta has issued a press note in protest saying that the leaders of the Hindu Sena are allegedly being harassed by the police.
