Zilla Panchayat CEO Bhuvanesh Patil inspects development projects and water supply initiatives in Dharwad taluk, Karnataka.
Chief Executive Officer of the Zilla Panchayat Bhuvanesh Patil visited Amminabhavi and Hebballi gram panchayats, in Dharwad taluk of Dharwad district in Karnataka, to inspect various ongoing development projects.
At Amminabhavi, Mr. Patil reviewed implementation of the Jal Jeevan Mission and gathered details about drinking water supply in the area. He inspected the DBOT (Design, Build, Operate, Transfer) drinking water unit.
Later, he visited the Primary Health Centre in the village, examined public and hospital registration records, and instructed medical officers to ensure timely and free healthcare services to people.
Subsequently, he visited Hebballi gram panchayat and inspected the quality of household water connections provided under the rural drinking water supply scheme. He reviewed the installation of water meters, regularity of water supply, pipeline work, road restoration, and water quality testing using field test kits
Mr. Patil was accompanied by Dharwad Tahsildar D.H. Hugar, Taluka Panchayat Executive Officer Gangadhar Kandkur, Rural Drinking Water and Sanitation Department Executive Engineer Jagadish Patil, along with gram panchayat development officers, representatives of contractors, and other officials.
