Youth thrown under running train after fight over phone in Delhi

A 20-year-old man was thrown under a running train by his friends following a brawl over a phone in Delhi's Punjabi Bagh.
Police have booked two men, including a minor, for throwing a 20-year-old youth in front of a running train following an altercation over a phone in Delhi's Punjabi Bagh. The victim, identified as Deepak, sustained grievous injuries and is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital. His condition is said to be critical.
Deepak had been managing a shop for a person named Manoj in Punjabi Bagh. According to a report published in News 18, Deepak lived with Heera and a minor and they used to steal valuables from his shop and sell them elsewhere.
A few days back, Deepak found his cell phone missing and confronted the duo on suspicion. Following this, the trio got involved in a violent fight which took an ugly turn. Heera and the minor dragged Deepak to the railway tracks and threw him under the running train.
According to a police report, the duo threw Deepak in front of a running train and ran away from the spot. Police have filed a case under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and investigations are underway to nab the accused.
Locals alerted the police about the incident and officials of Punjabi Bagh Police arrived at the incident site. Cops have recorded the state of the victim and efforts are underway to arrest the accused.
