Yogi Adityanath meets PM Modi in Delhi, invites him for oath-taking ceremony in UP

With the BJP winning the UP Assembly election, Yogi Adityanath has made history in the state’s politics. He has become the first chief minister of UP to return to power after completing a full tenure.
Three days after the Uttar Pradesh Assembly poll results were declared, Yogi Adityanath met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Sunday.PM Modi congratulated Yogi Adityanath for his win in the UP election. According to reports, Yogi Adityanth also extended an invitation to the PM for his swearing-in ceremony.

Yogi Adityanath also met Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, BJP national president JP Nadda and the party's national general secretary BL Santosh.

Yogi Adityanath on Friday tendered his resignation as chief minister of Uttar Pradesh to Governor Anandiben Patel. He will be the first chief minister in the last 37 years to return to power after completing a full term in Uttar Pradesh.
