Yami Gautam to have an action-packed cameo in Aditya Dhar's Dhurandhar 2: Report

Actor Yami Gautam will reportedly take on a special cameo in Dhurandhar: The Special Revenge. Directed by Aditya Dhar and headlined by Ranveer Singh, the film is slated to release on March 19.

Actor Yami Gautam will reportedly appear in a special cameo in Dhurandhar: The Revenge. A recent report suggests that she has already filmed for nearly five days. Her role is described as action-packed and crucial to the film.

The news comes as the makers recently released the teaser of the film's second part, which is slated to release on March 19. Directed by Yami's husband and filmmaker Aditya Dhar, the film stars Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi among others.

A report by PinkVilla quoted a source as saying, "Yami’s role is action-packed and extremely crucial to the narrative. She has already shot for nearly 5 days, and though it’s a cameo, it’s an important part that will leave the audience amazed."

In an interview with News18 Showsha, Yami earlier spoke about the impact of the script on her as an actor. "When I read his (Aditya Dhar's) next script, I told him that it was one of those rare moments when I wished I was a guy. The script is so brilliant. It’s such an amazing world," she said, expressing her admiration for the story.

Despite her connection with the filmmaker, Yami emphasised maintaining boundaries. She said, "Regardless, I don’t have that expectation. We respect that professional line. I don’t think that line should be blurred. We’re very clear about it."
