Amid the ongoing tussle between the Navjot Singh Sidhu and Captain Amarinder Singh-led camps, Congress general secretary Harish Rawat met the disgruntled Punjab Congress leaders on Tuesday and conveyed the party high command's decision on not replacing the chief minister in view of the upcoming elections. Harish Rawat, who is the party's in-charge of Punjab, reached Chandigarh on Tuesday and met Punjab Congress chief Navjot Singh Sidhu and other leaders. He told them that their demand to replace CM Amarinder Singh was not justified as the assembly elections were over head.
