Wooing Chirag? RJD to celebrate Ram Vilas Paswan's birth anniversary on July 5

In what seems to be an attempt to woo Chirag Paswan, the Rashtriya Janata Dal will celebrate the birth anniversary of Ram Vilas Paswan on July 5.

Against the backdrop of a split in the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP), the Rashtriya Janata Dal is sending feelers to Jamui MP Chirag Paswan to try and woo him into the opposition camp in Bihar. RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav invited Chirag Paswan to join the RJD-led Mahagathbandhan alliance on Wednesday.
