Mom-to-be Alia Bhatt is a fashion icon and there is no denying that fact. She has served up some drool-worthy fashion choices in the past and continues to turn heads with almost every outfit. Do you remember the striking purple lehenga that she wore on Diwali last year? Well, the lehenga by Sabyasachi was recreated by a woman in Rs 5k. Yes, you read that right. A video of the same has gone viral online and we are of the opinion that it should not be missed.
The now-viral video was shared on Instagram by Vishva. For her brother’s wedding, Vishva tried to recreate the stunning bandhani lehenga. She first went to a shop to choose the fabric and got one that looked exactly similar to the lehenga. Then she got her tailor to stitch it just like Alia’s lehenga. Even the choli with the plunging neckline and straps were the same.
“Rate this recreation on the scale of 1-10! Story time: The original one is for Rs 2 lakhs and I got mine one done in Rs 5000 from a nearby tailor and I’m so in love with it,” reads the caption of the post.
