
Woman found dead at home in UP’s Aligarh, son claims murder by uncle

A 30-year-old woman was found dead at her home in the Delhi Gate area of UP’s Aligarh. Family members alleged that she was murdered and the victim’s son claimed that she was killed by his uncle.
The dead body of a 30-year-old woman was found at her home in the Delhi Gate area of UP’s Aligarh on Thursday. Her family members alleged that she was murdered, and her son and husband claimed that the younger uncle had killed her.
Police officials who arrived on the scene sent the body for postmortem and initiated an investigation. They were informed that the deceased woman, Shalu (30), was married to Rajesh, who worked in a factory. They have a son, Yuvraj.
Family members informed police officials that, on Wednesday, Rajesh had gone to Delhi with his brother-in-law and others to attend a family function..Meanwhile, Shalu, her son, Yuvraj, and her sister-in-law, Nishu, were at home. They went to attend the Ganesh idol immersion in the neighbourhood, came back, and went to bed around 11 pm.
Nishu claimed that she woke up after hearing a noise, and saw that an unidentified person was trying to open the cupboard. Seeing the other family members also wake up, he ran away from there. But, they found Shalu lying unconscious on the cot.
The family took Shalu to a hospital where she was declared dead. There were several injury marks on her body and a scarf mark on her neck.
However, the victim’s son, Yuvraj, blamed his younger uncle for murdering his mother. Her husband, Rajesh, also alleged that she was murdered.
Circle officer Ashok Kumar from Nagla Masani police station, upon receiving the information, reached the spot, took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He was allegedly threatened with his life over the delay in repayment. Fearing for his life, Sachin immediately alerted the police.
