An Instagram post by Varshini captured the inspiring sight of a woman bus conductor reading a book after a long day has gone viral.
Her job requires stamina, long hours, and relentless focus. Yet, in the middle of her shift, a female bus conductor from Bengaluru chose to prepare for a different future, studying quietly while the world rushed around her.
Instagram user Varshini was returning from work after a tiring day as she noticed something unusual amid the usual rush.
A woman bus conductor, still in uniform, was deeply engrossed in a book during her break between duties. Surrounded by the noise and fatigue that often mark public transport shifts, she had chosen to read.
For Varshini, that simple act spoke volumes.
In a video she later shared on social media, the conductor can be seen seated inside the bus, focused on her book, turning pages with calm concentration. Her face is not shown.
Varshini made it clear that she wished to respect the woman’s privacy. “I respect her privacy and have not shown her face, my motive to post this is to inspire young minds just like I got inspired,” she wrote.
