Ivanna Lisette Ortiz, the Florida woman facing murder and assault charges after allegedly shooting at the home of Rihanna and A$AP Rocky, has entered a plea in the case.
During an arraignment hearing in Los Angeles court on Wednesday, March 25, Ortiz pled not guilty to the charges, according to The Associated Press and Fox 11 Los Angeles. Ortiz's bail was initially set at over $10 million following her March 8 arrest, but has since decreased to $1.875 million.
USA TODAY has reached out to Ortiz's attorneys, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office and representatives for Rihanna and A$AP Rocky for comment.
Ortiz, 35, was charged on March 10 with one count of attempted murder, 10 felony counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm and three felony counts of shooting at an inhabited dwelling or camper.
Around 1:20 p.m. on March 8, Ortiz allegedly drove up to the Beverly Crest home, fired a rifle "multiple times" and fled the scene, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office. Rihanna reportedly purchased the Southern California mansion in December 2020.
