Akshay Kumar’s much-awaited film, Ram Setu, is scheduled to hit cinemas in Diwali 2022. On Thursday, April 28, the actor dropped the first glimpse of the film on social media. While there were many who showed their excitement, others seemed confused about why the actor is carrying a flambeau, when Jacqueline Fernandez is already carrying a torch, in the latest poster.
On April 28, Akshay Kumar shared the first look of Ram Setu on Twitter. He wrote, “A glimpse into the world of #RamSetu. In cinemas Diwali, 2022 (sic).” As soon as the new poster was unveiled, some Twitter users lauded the film. However, there were others who couldn’t stop themselves from asking, why light a fire when you can carry a torch? In the poster, where Akshay can be seen carrying a flambeau, his co-star, Jacqueline Fernandez, has a torch in her hand.
