Aumkareshwar Thakur, the creator of the Sulli Deals app, has been arrested by the Delhi Police from Indore. Thakur, who holds a BCA degree, created the app that uploaded photos of several Muslim women for "auction".

Delhi Police's Special Cell has arrested the main creator of Sulli Deals, the app that uploaded photos of several Muslim women without their consent for a virtual "auction".

The accused, Aumkareshwar Thakur (25), was nabbed from Indore in Madhya Pradesh. Thakur was arrested based on the questioning of Niraj Bishnoi, the creator of the Bulli Bai app which is similar to Sulli Deals app.
