Aumkareshwar Thakur was arrested for creating the Sulli Deals app used in mid-2021 to put photographs of Muslim women for 'auction'. His arrest came after another 'auction' of Muslim women was put out on another app, Bulli Bai, and Delhi police arrested Niraj Bishnoi, the alleged creator of the Bulli Bai app.
