Eagle-eyed fans were outraged by this detail.
Sabrina Carpenter might’ve helmed the pants-less trend at Met Gala this year, subsequently causing a stir, but singer Lisa’s sans-trousers look is downright sparking outrage.
On Monday, the “White Lotus” star marked her first time attending the fashion event by donning a sparkling Louis Vuitton bodysuit, sheer tights and matching black pumps on the red carpet at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
The drama, however, kicked off after eagle-eyed fans took a closer look at the Thai singer’s ensemble and noticed that a face resembling famous civil rights activist Rosa Parks, among others, appeared on her bodysuit, and were most visible in the panty area.
According to British Vogue, the embroidered images are miniature versions of portraits by artist Henry Taylor, who has worked with Louis Vuitton and Met Gala co-chair Pharrell Williams before.
Social media users on X, formerly Twitter, accused the K-pop musician of insulting Parks and the evening’s theme of “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” by taking things too far with her risqué fashion choice.
