The late night host used an old tweet to expose the president's hypocrisy.
Jimmy Kimmel on Monday gave President Donald Trump a reminder of his own recent history as airport security lines stretch for hours due to the impact of the partial shutdown of the federal government on TSA workers.
But that hasn’t changed Trump’s own routine, as Kimmel pointed out.
“All the tumult did not stop the president from playing golf this weekend,” he said. “Which made me nostalgic for this classic tweet from 2016.”
Kimmel read the message attacking then-President Barack Obama:
“While our wonderful president was out playing golf all day, the TSA is falling apart, just like our government! Airports a total disaster!”
