Jimmy Kimmel Thinks This May Be The ‘Craziest Thing About’ Donald Trump

“It makes no sense at all," said the late-night host.
Jimmy Kimmel on Wednesday suggested the “craziest thing” about Donald Trump may be his long-running contempt for wind turbines.
Kimmel first mocked Trump for being “laser focused on the issues that matter most to us, like windmills,” referencing reports that the White House is considering paying $1 billion in compensation to French company TotalEnergies to cancel its leases on wind farms off the coasts of New York State and North Carolina.
“A billion dollars of our money to cancel projects that harness an endless resource, wind,” said Kimmel. “And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the kind of math that bankrupts casinos.”
“It makes no sense at all,” he continued. “If the wind farm in New York alone was finished, it would produce enough electricity to power a million homes and businesses with free renewable energy every year. So, of course, it has to be stopped.”
“This might be the craziest thing about him,” Kimmel said of Trump, noting it’s “this grudge Trump has against what he calls windmills.”
