The longtime host launched a few zingers at the president in a debate with guest host Abby Huntsman.
Joy Behar’s herpes dig at President Donald Trump on “The View” got the White House sore on Wednesday.
Shortly after playing a video of Trump boasting that he received an undisclosed expensive present from Iran, Behar questioned guest panelist Abby Huntsman, a former co-host, on what the military has accomplished in Trump’s war.
“And what’s the gift besides herpes?” Behar cracked, prompting laughter from the audience.
Moments later, Huntsman said, “We don’t what know what the intelligence [Trump] got was ― that’s the problem.”
Behar snarked, “The word ‘intelligence’ and him in the same ― in a sentence should not go together.”
The actor, now 49, spent much of the show's premiere season "desperately afraid that I was going to be fired."
