When do new 'Yellowstone' spinoff 'Marshals' episodes release?

Dutton family scion Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes) did not get the happy ending "Yellowstone" viewers thought he would as he rode into the sunset with wife Monica (Kelsey Asbille) and son Tate (Brecken Merrill) at the end of Taylor Sheridan's wildly popular series.

Instead, Kayce is entering "Yellowstone's" CBS network spinoff "Marshals" with only memories of Monica Dutton (Kelsey Asbille), who died of cancer.

"Any hero's journey needs to begin in tragedy," Spencer Hudnut, "Marshals" creator and executive producer, told USA TODAY. "In 'Yellowstone,' Kayce and Monica had such a happy ending. We needed to turn his world upside down."

Kayce, in "Marshals" has left the "Yellowstone" ranch behind and is now putting "his skills as a cowboy and Navy SEAL to bring range justice to Montana" as a member of an elite unit of U.S. Marshals. In the series' premiere climactic scene Kayce tells Monica he's "changing paths," and is going to join the U.S. Marshals, in an attempt to "find a new beginning for me and Tate."
