WhatsApp will turn into a dummy app if you don’t accept new privacy policy

May 15 has finally arrived but no WhatsApp user is losing their accounts even if they have not accepted the new privacy policy.
Not too long ago, WhatsApp users were dreading May 15 as they thought they would lose their account on this date. The day has finally arrived but no WhatsApp user is losing their accounts even if they have not accepted the new privacy policy. The company had earlier given an ultimatum to users that in order to continue using the messaging app users will have to accept the new privacy policy. But that is not happening anymore as the messaging app has announced updates related to the privacy policy. Much ahead of the May 15 deadline, WhatsApp had said that it will not delete the accounts of users even if they don’t accept the privacy policy. But that’s not how simple things are. While WhatsApp might not take away your account, it will limit some functions. WhatsApp will keep sending reminders to users for weeks but despite the reminders if users don’t accept the privacy policy, the app will become completely useless. More like a dummy app without any basic features.
