Shatrughan Sinha praised Dhurandhar, calling it an absolute masterpiece. Apart from the cast, he also expressed admiration for the technical brilliance of the film.
Director Aditya Dhar's Dhurandhar, which was theatrically released in December 2025, drew consistent acclaim along with divided opinions about the film, which continues to be debated till date. Now, veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha has reviewed the film; while dismissing the narrative, labelling it as 'propaganda', he instead praised it as an 'absolute masterpiece'.
Sinha, in his X post, wrote, "Wow! Just happened to see the most talked about film an absolute masterpiece, Dhurandhar. What 'propaganda' film??? A film is a film is a film. It's a great film, gripping interesting & full of entertainment, made with sincerity. The sets too have been created beautifully in Bangkok, Thailand (depicting Pakistan) in a very realistic manner (sic)."
Sinha emphasised the technical brilliance of Dhurandhar, particularly its sharp editing. He mentioned that the cinematographer deserved significant applause for such exquisite work. The actor praised the entire cast and crew for their collective talent in transforming the film into a visual delight where every individual stood out superbly.
He described Ranveer Singh as the only one capable of fitting the bill with his outstanding presence. Sinha called Sanjay Dutt brilliant, with a nod to his late father Sunil Dutt. The 79-year-old credited Akshaye Khanna for carving out his own identity through an extraordinary and flawless performance that left a lasting impression.
While speaking about the director's vision, the veteran complemented the strategic marketing approach through YouTube, which was cited as a key factor in its high visibility.
