What led to the Singhu border lynching?

Lakhbir Singh had come to the Singhu border three days ago and had been staying in the Nihang camp near the first stage closest to the Delhi border.
A 35-year-old man, Lakhbir Singh, was brutally murdered at the Singhu border outside Delhi. His body, with a chopped hand, was found hanging from a barricade near the main stage of the protesting farmers on Friday morning.
The Samyukt Kisan Morcha in a statement said the Nihangs had admitted to the lynching. It said that Nihangs had killed Lakhbir because they claimed that he had attempted to commit sacrilege on the ‘Sarbaloh Granth’.
