PWD officials report Tirunelveli water levels in Papanasam & Manimuthar dams, with rainfall in Manjolai, Kakkachi, Nalumukku & Oothu.
Water level in Papanasam dam was 142.35 feet (maximum level 143 ft) with an inflow of 965.68 cusecs and a discharge of 1770.66 cusecs. The water level in Manimuthar dam was 118 ft (maximum level 118 ft) with an inflow and a discharge of 700 cusecs. The rainfall (in mm) was as follows: Manjolai: 6, Kakkachi: 4, Nalumukku: 12 and Oothu recorded 8 mm rainfall during the last 24 hours ending 6 a.m. on Monday, PWD officials said.
