Uttar Pradesh will hold a 3-day-long exhibition ahead of Diwali to promote pottery and clayware.
The Uttar Pradesh government will provide a platform to products of over 150 artisans through a 3-day-long exhibition, which is set to be organised by the UP Mati Kala Board ahead of the occasion of Diwali. As is evident from the name, Mati Kala Festival is a celebratory display of the commodities handcrafted by artisans across Uttar Pradesh from clay and pottery, where craftsmen from all districts of the state will be exhibiting their skill and talent via their products.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.

He was allegedly threatened with his life over the delay in repayment. Fearing for his life, Sachin immediately alerted the police.
