Vivo has confirmed the launch of the V70 series in India. The company has revealed the design and some details regarding the upcoming two devices – the V70 and the V70 Elite. Here are all the details.
Vivo is set to launch its next-generation of the V series in India. The Chinese phonemaker has confirmed two devices – the V70 and the V70 Elite. The V70 series not only comes with a new design, but also is set to receive major upgrades in terms of performance, while retaining its Zeiss branding.
Here are all the details about the Vivo V70 series to get you up to speed.
The V70 series launch page is now active on Vivo’s India website, giving us an early look of the upcoming smartphones. The device shown on the website reveals a new square-ish camera module with a triple rear camera setup. This is different from the vertically-arranged pill shaped camera module on the Vivo V60. You also get a new Passion Red shade
Though, the V70 series does retain the ring light for flash, as well as Zeiss branding. It is unclear whether the displayed device is the V70 or the V70 Elite.
Vivo states that the V70 series will get an aerospace-grade aluminium frame for better durability. The devices will also come with IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
The V series has focused on bringing a good camera experience, and the V70 series will likely continue this trend. Vivo has revealed that the V70 Elite will pack a triple rear camera setup – a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 50-megapixel 3x telephoto, along with an ultrawide lens.
