Vision 2030 released for Thoothukudi and Kanniyakumari districts
Minister for Fisheries, Fishermen Welfare and Animal Husbandry Anitha Radhakrishnan launched “Vision 2030”, strategies and an action plan document for Thoothukudi district, here on Friday.
The event was presided over by Thoothukudi District Collector K. Elambahavath.
At the event. Mr. Anitha Radhakrishnan also released the five-year achievement document, containing details of welfare schemes and development projects implemented by various departments.
A video presentation highlighting various development and achievements carried out in the district over the past five years was also screened during the event.
Thoothukudi Corporation Mayor Jegan Periyasamy, Thoothukudi Corporation Commissioner S. Priyanka, District Forest Officer M. Ilayaraka MLA’s M.C. Shunmugaiah, G.V. Markandayan and other officials were present.
In Nagercoil, Kanniyakumari District Collector R. Alagumeena released the “Vision 2030”, strategies and action plan document for Kanniyakumari district.
