Actor R Madhavan, who portrayed Intelligence Bureau director Ajay Sanyal in Dhurandhar: The Revenge, was seen watching the film in a theatre. Exhibitor Akkshay Rathie shared the video along with a humorous caption.
Rathie shared the video on his Instagram story and wrote, "ISI can make whatever plans they want to. Just let them know, Ajay Sanyal has his eyes on them all the time! Such a fun time catching. #DhurandharTheRevenge again with @actormaddy! Missed you, @rampal72...(sic)!"
The film also features actors Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun, Udaybir Sandhu, Gaurav Gera, Manav Gohil, Rakesh Bedi, Binay Oberoi and Raj Zutshi in key roles. The Aditya Dhar directorial is co-produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios.
It is a sequel to Dhar's Dhurandhar (2025), which featured actor Akshaye Khanna as the antagonist Rehman Baloch. The film marked Sara Arjun's acting debut opposite Ranveer.
India Today, in its review of the film, wrote, "Ranveer Singh is extraordinary. If Lootera (2013) revealed his restraint, Dhurandhar: The Revenge unleashes his excess, and he makes it work. His is the performance of force, not just of craft alone. His stillness as Jaskirat seems haunting, while his eruption as Hamza is almost mythic in its scale. There's a certain abandon here - reckless, consuming - that elevates the film. Singh takes ownership of the film and delivers his most passionate, most skilled, most powerful performance so far."
Dhurandhar: The Revenge has grossed over Rs 1,435 crore globally in less than a fortnight. In the domestic market, the film has surpassed Rs 900 crore so far.
