While the film will hit the theatres on August 25, the South superstar and producer Karan Johar dropped a new poster from a song in the film, Akdi Padki. The poster also marks Ananya's first-look reveal from her South debut.

On July 6, producer Karan Johar and Vijay released the first poster of a new song from the film, Akdi Padki. It was also mentioned that Akdi Pakdi teaser will release on Friday, July 8, while the full song will be out on July 11.
Vijay, while dropping the first look from the first-ever song from the film, wrote, "50 Days to Release Let's Celebrate with some Massssss Music! AKDI PAKDI 1st song - July 11th Promo on July 8th #Liger #LigerOnAug25th (sic)."
There is a high possibility that the makers of Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday's Liger might release the trailer of the film soon. As per a source close to the film, the makers are looking forward to releasing the Liger trailer in the second or third week of July. This gives them exactly a month to go all out and promote the film, which is slated to release on August 25.
Ananya Panday, during an exclusive conversation with IndiaToday.in, shared her experience of working with Vijay Deverakonda. She said, “Amazing! To talk to, he [Vijay Deverakonda] is so kind. We had a lot of fun when we were shooting in the USA together. We have wrapped the film, and I just wrapped up dubbing for the film. So now it’s almost fully ready. The film is going to come in August and it is a full-on masala film. I think it will make people really happy watching it.”
