A vehicle carrying liquor bottles worth Rs 10 lakh toppled near the highway in the Viraganur area of Madurai, Tamil Nadu, as the driver lost control.
The alcohol bottles were loaded from a warehouse situated in Manaloor, Kerala.
As soon as the cartons with liquor bottles spewed across the highway, commuters started picking them up, creating a ruckus.
The traffic was also halted on the national highway. The images of commuters salvaging liquor bottles from the toppled vehicle have now gone viral on the internet.
