Vanitha Vijayakumar has been roped in to play an important role in the Tamil remake of Andhadhun featuring Prashanth. The film is directed by Thiagarajan.
Vanitha Vijayakumar is all set to make a comeback in Tamil cinema with Andhadhun remake. The film, featuring Prashanth and Simran in leading roles, was officially launched on March 10 in Chennai. The film's launch began with a customary puja in the presence of the cast and crew. Initially, the film was supposed to be directed by acclaimed-filmmaker Mohan Raja. However, he had to opt out of the project due to various issues. Later, the makers announced that JJ Fredrick has been roped in to helm the film. Now, Prashanth's father Thiagarajan himself is directing the project. According to the latest reports, Vanitha Vijayakumar has been roped in to play an important role. Her character will have negative shade and major portions will be shot in Chennai. An official announcement regarding entire cast and crew will be made soon.
