Vadodara SI, who assaulted former MP last year, beats 18-year-old for not wearing mask

An 18-year-old boy was allegedly thrashed by police personnel in Vadodara, Gujarat, for not wearing a mask. Navapura police sub-inspector DS Patel, who led the assault, was later transferred to the police control room. Reportedly, sub-inspector Patel is the same officer who had assaulted former Vadodara MP Satyajit Gaekwad over a similar face mask issue last year. The teenager, named Ritam Patel, was traveling in his car on Tuesday when he was stopped near the city's Polo Ground area for not wearing a mask.
