The Uttar Pradesh Government has launched 'Uttar Pradesh Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojana' for children who have lost either one or both parents due to Covid-19.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has launched a welfare scheme for those children who have lost either one or both parents due to Covid-19. Under the 'Uttar Pradesh Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojana', the Uttar Pradesh government will provide financial assistance to a child's guardian, while those who do not have anyone to look after them will be sent to children's homes, an official spokesperson said. CM Adityanath said that the state government will take care of the upbringing and education of children orphaned by Covid-19. As a part of the scheme, the state government will provide Rs. 4000 to a child's guardian or caretaker till he or she attains adulthood.More Related News
