
Maruti Suzuki e Vitara full price list out and how to access free charging

Maruti Suzuki yesterday announced the starting price of its maiden electric SUV, the e Vitara and now the full price list of the e Vitara is out.
After showcasing at multiple events, Maruti Suzuki finally announced the pricing of its first all-electric SUV, the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara yesterday. Now, as per dealerships in the NCR region, the e Vitara without Battery-as-a-service (BaaS) will cost Rs 15 lah (ex-showroom) and will go all the way to Rs 18.79 lakh (ex-showroom).
Maruti Suzuki is offering the e Vitara in three variants: Delta, Zeta and Alpha. The Delta, which is the entry-level model, will come with a 49kWh battery and it will cost Rs 15 lakh (ex-showroom), with battery, while with BaaS, it will cost Rs 10.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
The second variant, which is the Zeta will come with a 61kWh battery pack, priced at Rs 17.59 lakh (ex-showroom). The Zeta will not be offered with the smaller battery pack.
The top-end variant, which is the Alpha will also come with a 61kWh battery pack and will get ADAS Level-2, sunroof with fixed glass, 9-speaker Infinity sound system above the Zeta variant. This variant will cost Rs 18.79 lakh (ex-showroom)
Maruti Suzuki will also introduce the e for me app, that will allow owners to access thousand units worth of charge in the first year, as per the dealership. Owners can use this app pan India to access free charging. Additionally, the carmaker is also offering a complimentary home charger as part of the package that is valued at Rs 50,000.
Powering the e Vitara is a compact 3-in-1 electric powertrain integrating the motor, inverter and transmission. Buyers can choose between two battery packs.
