
UP court declares former MP Dhananjay Singh 'fugitive' in murder of Mau politician

Former BSP MP Dhananjay Singh has been declared a fugitive in the murder case of Ajit Singh, a gangster-turned-politician from Mau who was shot dead in Lucknow in January of this year.
Former MP Dhananjay Singh has been declared a 'fugitive' by a court in Uttar Pradesh in the Ajit Singh murder case. Formerly a Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) legislator, Dhananjay Singh is one of the key accused in the murder of former Mau block president Ajit Singh. The Uttar Pradesh Police had in March of this year, announced a reward of Rs 25,000 in exchange for any information that might lead to the arrest of Dhananjay Singh. The police had also written to the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and Income Tax department seeking details of illegal properties owned by Dhananjay Singh across Uttar Pradesh.More Related News
